President/Owner

Keith A. Bolles

Keith A. Bolles was born to work at Saybrook Home, unofficially getting his start emptying wastebaskets for a buck a bin at the age of four. After graduating from Dickinson College and working briefly for a private equity firm, Keith returned to Saybrook Home to work in the business his Grandmother had started full time.

When not working, Keith enjoys cooking with his wife, golfing with either friends or his dad, volunteering at Special Olympics with his sister Lindsey, or watching whatever sporting event happens to be on. Keith looks forward to carrying on the legacy established by his Grandmother and parents at Saybrook Home, and continuing to provide the best products, with the best service to the Connecticut community and beyond.

Keith Bolles, Sr.

An entrepreneur at heart, Keith began his journey with Saybrook Home in 1977 right after graduating from Southern Connecticut State University.  He and his wife Jane and their family, Lindsay, Kara, and Keith have all worked together to help grow the family-owned business. Over the past 50 years, Keith has been passionate about supporting the town of Old Saybrook and its merchants. He has been an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and was the founder of the Main Street Business Association.

Keith appreciates the value of family and enjoys meeting the next generation of his customer’s children coming to the store to purchase their first piece of furniture.  He also has deep respect and admiration for the loyalty of his employees and how hard they work to exceed their customer’s expectations; some of his employees have been with him 30+ years before retiring.

Keith enjoys his spare time on the golf course, with his family, and taking a brisk walk with his beloved dogs.

VP Operations

Jane Bolles

Jane has been working side by side with her husband Keith, for over 47 years at Saybrook Home. Jane and Keith have 3 children, live in Essex, CT, and have been married for over 38 years. Jane graduated from UCONN and prior to entering into the business, she was employed by Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford. Upon the arrival of their first child Lindsey, born with special needs, Jane left the corporate position and began working at the store. Over time, the family grew, adding Kara and Keith. Along with working at the store, Jane worked for CT Parent Advocacy Center in Niantic, CT assisting families who have children with special needs.

With a passion for philanthropy, Jane has been an active board member at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding in Old Lyme, CT for over 15 years. Jane has a passion for reading, fitness and being outdoors. She loves animals, particularly horses and dogs. Her greatest satisfaction comes from seeing her family grow in their personal endeavors while supporting the family business they love.

Director of Human Resources

Susan (Suzy) Fisher

Suzy brings to Saybrook Home over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. She believes that when individuals feel valued and heard, that is when a team collectively thrives and does their best work. Suzy takes pride in the strong and supportive team dynamic she has been able to foster, and continues to enhance, over her 6 years at Saybrook Home. As a true New Englander, Suzy cheers for the Boston Red Sox and the Patriots, and loves spending time on the beach with her family.

Michael Hicks

Michael comes to Saybrook Home with a very natural talent for all things visual and design. For the previous ten years, Michael was a Regional Visual for a high-end clothing store where he supported 40+ stores with their individual merchandising and visual needs. Out of those 40+, he precisely mapped out and planned over 35 new stores, including the NYC flagship store.
