Amy Sage DeMik

A native of the CT Lower Valley, Amy has lived all over the world, returning home to CT in 2021. Growing up in Chester, the daughter of an antique auctioneer, she has, from an early age, had a love and appreciation for well crafted and beautiful furnishings both in terms of durability and design. One of her earliest memories is of coloring a floral pattern to making sure her dollhouse had wallpaper!

With over two decades of interiors experience in interior/exterior, commercial and residential design, as well as product design and development, she prides herself on mindful design: listening to her clients to design spaces that are reflective of the atmosphere the client would like to achieve in their home. From Modern Mountain to Mid-Centrury to Traditional, Amy loves designing personalized spaces for her clients and the character of their home. Her favorite style is New Traditional, taking cues from Historic styles and forms and re-interpreting them with current fabrics and colors. Amy has a BA in English with minors in Art and Business Administration from Rosemont College. After graduation she moved to Washington, DC and was a Business Analyst for Boeing Space Systems at NASA HQ. Ready to return to her love of design and creativity, she continued
her education with Design and Architectural Studies with Parsons School of Design and her LEED GREEN Assoc. for Green Sustainable Resources with Duke University.

A former military officer spouse, she has lived all over the world, from FL to Japan and back. She has projects in CA, UT, WY, FL, NC, WI, NY, RI and CT. Mother of four, with close ties to the area, she is rooted in the local Tri-Town Community. A historical home lover, she is currently remodeling her 1840’s Mill along the Deep River. She enjoys spending time with her family and involvement with local museums and charitable organizations.
