We are building a house and stopped in to Saybrook Home Glastonbury to get some decor ideas. We met Mary and immediately developed a connection. She is talented and it is obvious that she enjoys and takes pride in counseling folks toward realizing their hopes and dreams in laying out and decorating a space. Don't only stop in to see what Saybrook Home Glastonbury has to offer, but specifically seek out Mary. It will be time well spent.

Our meetings with Mary Goodwin have been wonderful. She takes the time to get to know us so she understands what works best for the design of our home. She has offered several great suggestions that we didn't think of to maximize the design and functionality of our plans and accomplishes this with comfortable and easy-going dialogue. As someone who bought most of his furniture at Saybrook Home in Old Saybrook I have traveled from Newington to Old Saybrook many, many times. I didn't expect the Glastonbury store could have much on display but boy was I surprised at the great selection. I really like how the furniture as you enter the store is on the darker side, (much like mine) but as you progress to the other end it gets much lighter. Obviously trends have changed. The store is actually bigger than I imagined and Mary was very friendly and helpful. In addition, it is convenient being located next door to Trader Joes and there is plenty of parking. I will definitely be back Mary!

I've recently begun preparing for my home renovation and have been thrilled with what Saybrook Home literally brings to my table as far as quality, choices, knowledge but most importantly exceptional service. The Glastonbury location is beautiful, peaceful and soothing and every time I walk in the door, I'm warmly greeted. I've primarily spent time with Mary, the assistant store manager and she is a true delight. Her passion, knowledge and easy going personality allow me to feel relaxed while in the store but also heard in regards to what it is that I'm really looking for. She has guided me to pieces I never thought I'd choose but am now in love with and cannot wait to have delivered to my home. Without you even knowing it, she'll have you sitting on your next perfect piece of furniture because she pays attention to everything you present to her. Her smile, sense of humor and hugs are priceless! In addition to Mary, I've had the pleasure of getting to know and pick the brains of some of the other brilliant team players at SH, including Adam, Shannon, Jeramy, Kelly and Bridgette. If you're looking for a relaxed, beautiful and fun atmosphere to create the home of your dreams, Saybrook Home is the place.

The "experience " (which is really the main part of selecting new furniture) I had at Saybrook Home (Glastonbury) to select a new sofa and love seat was very satisfying. I am not a easy customer to deal with either. From the beginning of my inquiry, to selections and to the final choices made, Mary Goodwin provided great customer serivce. Mary's exceptional effort, commitment and dedication in helping me understand and choose wisely for the final product was second to none!

I had sent several emails to the Saybrooke Home website asking nuermous questions on how they operated. Initiailly i wasn't convinced Saybrook could provide visually/feeling what i was looking for. I need to 'see it and feel it' before making a purchase. All inquiries were handled with professionalism and insight. Especially once i was in the showroom. Mary's attention to detail and determination is very much appreciated. I feel 100% comfortible with the purchase I made and the steps it ook to get to the end product. Mary is very concerned in ensuring the customer gets what they want. She has a great personality, a sense of humor (which i like) and very easy to deal with in a non pressured environment.

Love working with Mary. She has helped with designing so much of two of our homes and guiding us to make the best decisions for us. We never feel pushed one way or the other and she really takes the time to understand our needs / wants when picking items. Saybrook has so many styles and a lot of custom options as well so you’ll surely find something that’s perfect for you, especially if you’re working with a designer like Mary or her team :)
